yeh sure, I did purchase it all above board and fully legit. - everyone on Pink Bike is saying I should go for warranty... doh! I guess it's now gonna lead to that, I'll let the situation air for a bit for now, I know the uk banshee importers use pinkbike and are generally subscribed to all banshee related threads - I'll see if they pipe up or remain timid as a mouse, should be a good indication of where I stand!

Not sure yet! I'm hesitant as I just seem to be the unlucky/fussy guy who has to claim warranty on every darn thing I buy, haven't dealt with Banshee warranty before, gotta psych myself up for it!

The faulty welding has caused the top tab to bend inwards, this results in about a 2mm deflection at the top of the chain guide.
